Sam Scott

Sam—Client Coordinator

Client Coordinator Samantha has been with us since March of 2011 and has worked with animals professionally for the past 10 years. She takes great pride in her client care responsibilities and brings what she calls her "compassionate attitude and quirky sense of humour" to the clinic every day.

"I enjoy the fast-paced environment and the interesting cases we see," she said when describing her job at AECFV.

Samantha shares her home with Trinity, a domestic short hair cat. She spends her free time going to concerts, shopping and watching movies.

Renee

Renee—Receptionist

Renee has been our receptionist since December 2010. She answers the emergency calls, admits and discharges our patients and assists with triage—which helps determine which of our emergency patients needs immediate care. Renee said the best part of her day is "listening to clients share how their pets impact their lives."

She describes the atmosphere at AECFV this way: "I enjoy the relaxed professionalism, and the way that the more experienced staff willingly assist newer employees who are learning. There is a respect for every person no matter where they come from. I especially love bringing our patients out to the waiting room to the arms of their very missed and beloved families."

Renee has a long-haired, lovable cat named Grizzly. She has a daughter she home schools and enjoys attending community events and festivals.

She also spends part of her week working at a local horse stable. Tracy has her Veterinary Office Administration and Special Education certificates.

When not spending time with her husband and children, Tracy takes care of her two Lhasa x shih tzus, Gin and Tonic, who are brothers. She also enjoys hiking, horses and mountain biking.
