The Animal Emergency Clinic of the Fraser Valley is looking for additional ER Veterinarians to join our thriving team.

The Animal Emergency Clinic of the Fraser Valley has been a well-respected emergency practice for 27 years.  Located in Langley in the southern west coast of British Columbia’s Lower Mainland, our location is perfect if you enjoy an active lifestyle combined with big city culture. Mountains, freshwater lakes, and lush forests provide you with an abundance of indoor and outdoor activities to suit every lifestyle.

If you enjoy hiking, watersports, biking, horseback riding or snow sports, you’re going to love it here! With our mild climate you will find plenty to do outside all year. Vancouver and the surrounding cities offer a diverse culinary scene, live music, art galleries and museums along with a laid-back west coast vibe.

As a leading emergency facility, we continually strive for innovation and growth. Our emergency care has developed to include the on-site services of three surgeons and two radiologists and we are taking steps to further expand our ER and specialty services. We are looking for a compassionate and confident Veterinarian who is excited for the challenge and reward of emergency medicine and who will share their enthusiasm through collaboration and mentorship.

You’ll join our team of almost 100 incredible individuals, each committed to practicing the highest standard of emergency medicine. You’ll have opportunities to practice emergency surgeries, endoscopy, ultrasound, and CT procedures alongside a strong group of team-players who work hard at maintaining a fun, inclusive clinic culture, and who value what your unique experience can contribute to our clinic.

AECFV opened its doors in 1996 and has grown quite a lot since then, but our values have remained the same. Provide the best care possible to the pets in our community. AECFV is partnered with National Veterinary Associates-Compassion-First (NVA C-F). NVA CV-F is a community of more than 100 specialty and emergency hospitals across North America driven by the spirit of collaboration and focused on empowering the advancement of veterinary medicine at the local hospital level.

Our amazing team already includes doctors from many parts of North America. If you are considering a move for political or personal reasons, the process is easier than you think! We will assist in your relocation process in any way required, and we provide a generous signing bonus and moving allowance. We offer highly competitive wages, an annual CE and uniform allowance, a generous staff discount plan, paid dues, paid vacation, an annual travel bonus, and more.

If you are looking for a workplace that will challenge you to grow professionally while still providing a healthy work-life balance, then it may be the right time for you to consider what we have to offer.
