Veterinarian

The Animal Emergency Clinic of the Fraser Valley is looking for ER Veterinarians to join our thriving team. We are an AAHA accredited 24-hour emergency and critical care hospital that provides coverage for more than 100 referring general practitioners. We’ve been growing for over 23 years and are one of the largest and busiest privately owned emergency hospitals in Western Canada.

As a leading emergency facility, we continually strive for innovation and growth. We’ve recently moved into our brand new hospital (Dec. 2017) and are looking for a compassionate, confident, and team-oriented new grad or seasoned Veterinarian who is excited for the challenge and reward of emergency medicine.

You’ll join our team of over 85 incredible individuals, each committed to practicing the highest standard of emergency medicine. We currently have on-site services of three surgeons, two radiologists, and an internist. You’ll have opportunities to practice emergency surgeries, endoscopy, ultrasound, and CT procedures alongside a strong group of team-players who work hard at maintaining a fun, respectful, inclusive clinic culture, and who value what your unique experience can contribute to our clinic.

A career with us is the chance to live, work, and play in the heart of beautiful British Columbia’s Lower Mainland—an area renowned for its hiking, watersports, mountain biking, equestrian activities, skiing, and snowboarding. If you enjoy an active lifestyle combined with easy access to big city culture, you’re going to love it here where the city meets the country just 30 minutes outside of Vancouver.

Our amazing team already includes doctors from many parts of North America. Whether you are from outside B.C. or outside Canada, the process is easier than you think! We will assist in your relocation process in any way required, and we provide a generous signing bonus and moving allowance. We offer highly competitive wages, an annual CE and uniform allowance, a generous staff discount plan, paid dues, paid vacation, an annual travel bonus, and more.

If you are looking for a place that values your healthy work-life balance, a place where your interests and aspirations are supported, and a place where you can share your enthusiasm through collaboration and mentorship while challenging yourself with experiences for professional growth, we think you can have it all.

Are we right for each other?
