Every October the Registered Veterinary Technologists and Technicians of Canada (RVTTC) and provincial organizations celebrate and recognize RVTs.  Happy RVT Month!

In British Columbia having an RVT in your veterinary practice is voluntary but at AECFV we have been committed to having an RVT on every shift since we opened 23 years ago. Our RVTs help us maintain the high standard of care we set for ourselves. We are incredibly proud of each of them and feel lucky that they are on our team.

Working in an emergency setting can be demanding, miraculous, hectic and gratifying all at the same time. They know to expect the unexpected because no two shift are alike. They know that all their knowledge and skills will be put to task. Our RVTs are experts at what they do, compassionate and team leaders. They are mentors to other staff while working closely with management. Above all they are the voice of our patients.

In celebration and recognition of RVT Month, each and every one of our technicians will receive a gift card of their choice and on top of that we will have 2 draws. One for a day-of-with-pay, and another for a pair of Canucks tickets!
