Working in an emergency setting can be hectic, challenging, gratifying, heart breaking and extraordinary, all at the same time! When our RVT’s arrive… Read more »

AECFV Summer Students of 2020

It is common for students to work in veterinary clinics or other animal facilities during the summer to gain hands-on experience that is very valuable to their overall education. As summer draws to an end we start saying our good byes. This year we had… Read more »

Challenging Times Call for Resourceful Measures

Canadian Veterinarians are beginning to experience a shortage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as surgical masks and gloves. This doesn’t come as a surprise to us, but it does pose some challenges. Currently we are confident in our supply of surgical masks for performing surgeries, which we must save for those procedures. However, there… Read more »

There Will Be No Lack of Cupboard Space!

Hi Everyone! We’d like to apologize that it has been so long since our last update. Although there was a tremendous amount of work done, it really would not have shown it in the pictures. All the trades have been very busy especially the drywallers, plumbers and electricians. They had to get everything ‘tucked’ into… Read more »

AECFV’s Construction Update

Well it’s been about three weeks since our last update. Shortly after the last blog entry the acoustical insulators had to take over the building for an entire week. All 8000sq ft of the ceiling has been coated with a generous layer of sound absorbing insulation and we can already tell how dramatic of a… Read more »
