Stray and Wildlife Info

Have you found an injured bird? Perhaps an injured owl, coyote or raccoon?

We understand the strong desire to help abandoned or injured wildlife, but sometimes helping does more harm than good. A baby animal’s best chance for survival is to be raised by its natural parents. It is imperative that you make every effort to reunite the parents with their children before you consider removing the orphan from the wild.

Below you will find helpful links from various organizations that help lost, injured or abandoned animals in our communities. If you have found an animal that you believe needs assistance, click on the appropriate link and follow their recommendations on how to proceed.

Please note, due to current staffing levels we can no longer accept non-injured wildlife or stray pets. We urge you to follow the recommendations of the appropriate organization below.
